How much does Soundtrack Your Brand cost?

Prices checked: 4 October 2026. Soundtrack’s official pricing page displayed EUR 39 per music zone per month for Essential with monthly billing, or EUR 420 billed annually, presented as EUR 35 per month. This was the France/EUR regional view, not a global price or an Australian quote.

The current interface offers Essential with optional upgrades, including Unlimited music control. Some older Soundtrack material describes standalone plan tiers. For a purchasing decision, use the currently rendered regional pricing and checkout rather than an old comparison table.

This guide concentrates on cost. For a broader provider shortlist, read Soundtrack Your Brand alternatives. For the consumer-versus-business comparison, see Spotify versus Soundtrack.

These figures reproduce the selected regional pricing view; add-ons are additional to Essential. Tax inclusion was not established by the displayed price panel, so the figures should not be treated as confirmed tax-inclusive totals. Confirm the final tax, territory and billing terms at checkout. Rates and product packaging can change.

Annual billing is an upfront annual payment, not a promise that you can cancel after paying only EUR 35 for one month. When comparing suppliers, compare both the twelve-month total and the commitment. The apparent monthly saving may be less useful if a seasonal venue only needs music for part of the year.

What is included, and what needs an upgrade?

Soundtrack is a business music streaming service. Its current Essential interface presents commercial-use music streaming, curated selections, scheduling and explicit-lyric controls. Unlimited adds more precise playback control and offline mode. Messaging and higher-bitrate Hi-Fi audio are separately priced options in the view checked.

Before paying for an upgrade, identify the requirement it solves. A shop that wants a dependable scheduled atmosphere may value different controls from a brand team that needs a specific sequence of tracks. Request a demonstration of the behaviour you need instead of selecting every available add-on.

  • Precise track order or offline use: check Unlimited’s current conditions.
  • Customer announcements: assess Messaging and how it fits the venue’s audio workflow.
  • Higher-bitrate audio: check whether the Hi-Fi upgrade makes a meaningful difference through your existing speakers.
  • Large-team administration: obtain a quote for the applicable enterprise or sign-on requirements.

The comparison below intentionally avoids catalogue-size and customer-count claims. Those numbers do not establish whether the service has the music, permissions and operational features your business actually needs.

Per zone is not necessarily per location

A music zone is a separately controlled playback area. A small shop with one shared soundtrack may need one zone. A hotel playing different selections in a lobby and bar may need more than one, even though it has one postal address. Confirm the product’s zone definition for your equipment.

Worked example: one zone with Essential and Unlimited. Using the verified EUR view, the monthly-billed subscription components total EUR 61 per month: 39 + 22. The annual-billed components total EUR 660 per year: 420 + 240, equivalent to EUR 55 per month. These are calculations, not new published plan prices, and exclude unconfirmed tax and other costs.

Worked example: three independent zones with Essential only. The same regional base rate gives EUR 117 per month with monthly billing, or EUR 1,260 per year with annual billing. Count actual independent playback areas before multiplying a price by the number of stores.

Does the subscription include every music licence?

Do not assume that it does. Soundtrack’s licensing guidance directs users to country-specific requirements. Its Australia page identifies recording and publishing streaming rights as included while public-performance rights are not included. It directs users to OneMusic for the latter.

Its United States guidance should be assessed separately; an arrangement described for one country must not be imported into another. Give the provider your venue type and intended activities and ask for the exact included rights in writing.

Fitness-class music, DJ sets, online videos and other uses should be checked separately from ordinary background playback. A subscription described as business-licensed does not automatically grant permission to publish the same music in an advertisement.

Australian businesses can use our OneMusic cost guide to understand the separate local component. For other countries, start with business music licence costs and the Knowledge Center.

Equipment and operational costs

Soundtrack’s official apps and hardware page describes playback apps, a dedicated Soundtrack Player and supported integrations, including Sonos. A dedicated player is one possible setup, not a price that should automatically be added to every subscription.

Inventory what you already have: playback device, speakers, amplifier, network and the person responsible for restarting music. If existing compatible equipment covers the requirement, a new hardware purchase may be unnecessary. If it does not, request a hardware and installation quote separately.

Also budget for the work of managing a multi-location rollout. Staff access, zone naming, playlist policies and device setup can matter more operationally than a small subscription difference. Ask how upgrades apply across zones and whether every zone needs the same configuration.

Track Studios information comes from the current pricing page and licensing guide. The comparison is between different billing units and catalogue models. It is not an exchange-rate-adjusted global cheapest-provider claim.

Track Studios includes browser playback, audio ads, Sonos support and certificate access in its published offer. Its catalogue includes AI-generated music created under commercial-use arrangements. Those statements concern the supplied catalogue and service, not every track a customer might upload or every local licensing scenario.

Who is Soundtrack suitable for?

Include Soundtrack in your shortlist if you want its commercial catalogue and playback workflow, have identified the needed zones, and are comfortable with the subscription plus any required upgrades and local licences. Trial it during real opening hours rather than choosing purely from a feature table.

Consider Track Studios if its curated business background music and per-location model match your needs. If a particular mainstream artist catalogue is essential, check availability in the service you choose instead of assuming different libraries are interchangeable. Regional suppliers that bundle local permissions are another option worth comparing.
